The equipment selection for investing a carton box factory is depent on your business model and investment scale. Whatever you purchase finished cardboard to proceed, or producing cardboard from roll of raw paper materials, this will decide the big difference for the core equipment.

The following are device configurations for two modes, just for your reference.
This is mainly devided into two modes, but their starting points and core equipment are completely different:
Mode 1: third level factory(buy cardboard to make carton boxes)
Starting point: directly purchase the completely corrugated cardboard.
Core duty: make the cardboard into final carton boxes through printing, slotting, die-cutting, nailing/gluing and other processes.
It suitable for: the investment amount is relatively small, who want to flexibly face to the market, or have limited space.
Mode 2: Second level factory (made cardboard by own factory and also make carton boxes)
Starting point: purchase roll raw paper from the paper making factory.
Core duty: need to invest a complete corrugated cardboard production line, to make the raw paper into corrugated cardboard through compound, heat and bond, and then process the cardboard boxes.
It suitable for: the investors who have big investment ability, pursuing economies of scale, and have big control ability investors.

Core equipment list and assistant systems
Whatever you choose which mode, some core and assistant devices are common.
1. Cardboard production core equipment(just required for mode 2)
Corrugated cardboard production line: the is the "heart" for the second mode factory, it has highest value and the most complex technology. It consist by raw paper holder, single-facer corrugated machine, preheating cylinder, glue coating machine, double-facer machine, longitudinal cutting and creasing machine.
Steam and glue making system: the operation of the production line need steam heating and special adhesives, so, steam generators and automatic glue machine system are required.
2. Core equipment for carton forming step
This the key step which make the cardboard into carton boxes, the equipment selection is multiple, you can choose single machine or automatic production line.
Printing equipment: normally use ink printing slotter die-cutting machine, which can complete printing, slotter, die-cutting and other process in one step. If you like high precision printing effect, you also need choose offset printing machine and lamination machine.
Die-cutting equipment: normally used for irregular cardboard boxes or high-precision cardboard boxes, there are 2 types: circular die-cutting machine and flat die-cutting machine.
Nail box/glue box equipment: the final step for forming cardboard boxes. There are manual type, semi-automatic type and full automatic box mailing/gluing machines.
3. Assistant equipment
Packing machine: pack all finished carton box by quantity, in order for convenient storage and transporation.
Others: such as forklifts and trucks, as well as air compressors and dust removal equipment.
