The production, processing, and shaping of corrugated cardboard, as well as its subsequent transformation into completed corrugated cardboard boxes, are the primary functions of corrugated cardboard box machines. The packaging business makes extensive use of this kind of equipment, and its particular uses fall into the following categories:

1. Production of corrugated cardboard (core material):
To create single corrugated (like three-layer board), double corrugated (like five-layer board), or higher strength composite cardboard, join cardboard with corrugated base paper.

2. Printing and slotting:
Print text, patterns, barcodes, etc. on cardboard.
Slotting, creasing, and corner cutting should all be done at the same time to eliminate the box cover's gaps and shaking lid.

3. Die cutting (irregular box):
Use a cutting die to cut cardboard into precise forms for packaging boxes that are not conventional in size or that include intricate handle and ventilation holes (like fruit boxes or display boxes).

4. Adhesive box/nail box:
To create a flat or three-dimensional empty cardboard box, fold the printed, wrinkled, slotted, or die-cut cardboard and attach it with glue (glue box) or metal nails (nail box).

5. Paste box (for small color boxes):
Die-cut cardboard is automatically glued, folded, and compressed to form a foldable small paper box (like shoe boxes or express boxes), much like color box packing.
Typical production line combinations include:
Low speed simple line: printing slotting machine + box nailing machine + paper sorting and pressing machine -> manufacturing of standard transport outer boxes.
High-speed automation line: water-based printing slotting and die-cutting machine; completely automated box glue/nailing machine; strapping machine; palletizing machine; corrugated cardboard production line.

These devices convert rolled raw paper into flat corrugated cardboard, which is subsequently printed, cut, folded, glued, and nailed to create our everyday items, including fruit boxes, home appliance packaging boxes, and expedited delivery boxes.
