The working principle of Carton Printing Slotting Die-cutting Machine is to press and cut the cardboard into the desired shape through the principle of pressure and cutting, using the knife and creasing roller in the die-cutting mechanism to work together. Specifically, the machine uses a steel knife and steel wire (or a template carved from a steel plate) to apply a certain amount of pressure through the embossing plate to roll and cut the cardboard into a specific shape. This process can be divided into three main steps: die-cutting, creasing and slotting:
Cutting cardboard into the appropriate form is known as die-cutting.
Creasing is the process of pressing folding markings onto cardboard.
In order for the cardboard to fold into a sturdy three-dimensional structure, a slot must be cut into it that is a specific depth and width.
